In Randy's first Wisconsin workshop (September 2008), intermediate-to-advanced students enjoyed intensive classes in theory, swing, old-time and contest fiddling as well as 10 hours of personal instruction. Classes are held in the historic Monches Mill House, a classic B&B on the picturesque Oconomowoc River with a tennis court, hot tub and canoeing. Rooms and plenty of space for camping are available at the Mill House. There will be jamming after a Saturday night concert, and at any other available times. See the Registration Form and the Workshop Schedule for additional information and sign up soon: August 1 st is the registration deadline. This year we are adding a bass class taught by Mark Hembree, a former Bill Monroe “Blue Grass Boy” and longtime recording artist. |
